This video demonstrates “Circular bowing and forearm rotation” and “String-Crossing Study” on pages 63-64 of Violinworks Book 2. Circular bowing is a technique that’s used to move the bow rapidly to-and-fro between adjacent strings, and works best for short strokes at around the middle of the bow.
